La Bella Salumeria is a family-owned Italian deli in Union City, New Jersey, proudly serving the community since 1976. Founded by brothers Dominic and Anthony Bellifemine, La Bella was built on traditional Italian values: quality ingredients, honest portions, and treating customers like family.
In 1990, the deli entered a new chapter when their brother-in-law Gino, along with his wife Judy—the sister of Dominic and Anthony—took over ownership. Under Gino’s leadership, La Bella Salumeria expanded beyond a classic Italian deli and became a go-to lunch spot in Union City, known for fresh sandwiches, daily specials, and reliable catering.

Found this gem searching the internet for a sandwich spot near by. I have to say not only are the people working there extremely nice but the sandwiches are mouth watering and filling. Been there a couple times and every sandwich I’ve had from there is great. I’ve had chicken cutlet and mozzarella pepperoni and provolone turkey and mozzarella of course all of them have the toppings lettuce tomatoes etc. I will be returning there soon for some more tasty
